Privacy Policy

The Bay Stay Homes is a family-run collection of four vacation rentals in Plymouth and Wakefield, Massachusetts, hosted directly by the owners. Questions about this policy go to elinaglazer@gmail.com.

• Booking enquiries you send us: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your dates, party size and your message.
• Reservation details that Airbnb and Vrbo share with us when you book through them, including your name, the reservation dates and the confirmation code.
• Requests you make during a stay, such as an early check-in or luggage drop-off.
• Basic website analytics (Google Analytics) showing which pages are visited. This does not identify you by name.

The private admin area is for the property owners. It stores the host's sign-in account (email address, handled by our authentication provider), their properties, calendars, cleaning schedules and financial notes the host enters themselves.

A host can connect this site to an AI assistant such as ChatGPT. That connection is optional and off until the host sets it up.

• The host must sign in and approve the connection on a consent screen before anything is shared.
• Once connected, the assistant can ask our system for operational information on the host's behalf: reservation dates, arrivals and departures, cleaning schedules, stay requests, open dates, and direct booking requests.
• Guest email addresses, phone numbers, payout amounts and payment details are not returned to the assistant. Guest first names and party sizes may be returned where they are needed to run the stay.
• The only change an assistant can make is setting the status of a direct booking request (confirmed, declined, cancelled or back to new). It cannot delete records, change prices, or send messages to guests.
• Information sent to an assistant is then handled under that assistant provider's own privacy policy.

To answer booking enquiries, run stays and cleanings, keep our calendars accurate, send the host operational reminders, and meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use guest details for advertising.

• Website hosting and database storage for the site and admin area.
• Google sign-in and Gmail, used by the host to sign in and to read reservation confirmation emails from Airbnb and Vrbo.
• An email delivery service for host notifications and guest replies.
• An AI provider that powers the trip-planning concierge on this site.
• Google Analytics for anonymous traffic statistics.
• An AI assistant you connect yourself, if you choose to connect one.

Booking enquiries and reservation records are kept for as long as we need them for hosting history, guest service and tax records. Website analytics are kept in aggregate. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

• Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing elinaglazer@gmail.com. Some records must be kept where tax law requires it.
• A host can disconnect an AI assistant at any time — remove the connector in the assistant, and the access token stops working. Email us if you would like the approval revoked on our side too.
• To exclude your own browsing from our analytics, visit the site with ?owner=optout added to the address.

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
